Recipe: Wash well a cup of rice in cold water and drain. Transfer to a saucepan with 2 cups cold water. Leave to soak for 30 minutes. Heat the water to a boil and simmer on low heat 40 minutes or until water is absorbed by the rice. Remove from heat and let the pan with a lid for 10 minutes.
