Sparta, the Laconia area is an area with unspoilt and blessed by nature lands sunken and protected by the surrounding mountains. There is produced a "cold pressed in the highest category" olive oil with a harmonious, fruity and sweet taste, obtained from selected olives. The result is an ideal combination of two superb Greek grape varieties - Crowning and Athenian, and is considered by many experts as one of the best olive oils in the world. The product is certified as a Protected Geographical Indication (P.G.I.) and reflects the distinctive qualities of Sparta, the region in which it is produced.
