Rock Rose (Cistus incanus) is a bushy plant, an herb that has retained its healing properties for centuries. It is classified into about 50 species of the Cistaceae family. Free-growing is found in the Mediterranean region on magnesium-rich lands.

Usage:

Medicinal Tea:
Pour 1 teaspoon of the herb with 200-250 ml. boil and boil for about 10 minutes. Drink the tea while it is freshly brewed to take full advantage of its health. One serving of herb can be boiled up to 3 times.

Decoction:
Pour 10 g of the herb with 200-220 ml. water and allow to boil for 15-20 minutes. Cook on low heat, in a well-sealed container - so that the essential oils do not evaporate. Allow to cool for 20 minutes and strain.

The decoction thus obtained is used:
- externally (paws, rinsing fluids, washes);
- internally - 100 ml, 3-4 times a day (any inflammatory processes, borreliosis, gastritis, intestinal problems);
- also for enemas - 150-200 ml;
- Also use insect bites to soothe itching.

Inhalation:
Prepare a bowl of hot water and add 2-3 teaspoons of Rock Rose. Bend over the bowl and cover the head with a towel so that it does not "escape" the steam. Breathe in hot air for 15 minutes or until the water cools. Inhale through the nose and exhale through the mouth.

Inhalation is a relief for upper respiratory tract infections.
