Organic Cocoa Beans Criterio
The Latin name of cocoa beans is Theobroma cacao, which in Greek means "divine food" ("Theos" - God and "broma" - food). The first data on cocoa trees are from 4,000 years ago, found in the Amazon rainforest. Cocoa trees of the Criollo family are extremely rare and account for 1% of world cocoa production.
Cocoa beans are seeds of evergreen tropical wood known to mankind for millennia. Cocoa tree originates in Central and South America and grows in the areas around the Equator. Cryollo is an ancient, non-hybrid variety with a saturated, balanced and dense flavor. A very small part of the world production of cocoa beans is of this variety due to their more difficult cultivation and relatively lower yields. Cryollo is the most quality and sought after of all cocoa varieties because of its rich aroma, fine texture and lack of bitterness.
Cocoa beans contain no sugar and are rich in proteins, fats, fiber, iron, calcium, magnesium, antioxidants, B vitamins and other important ingredients. Cocoa beans contain tryptophan, anandamide, dopamine, phenylethylamine and monoamine oxidase inhibitors (enzymes). They all have a positive effect on the brain by improving the metabolism and bioavailability of the various neurotransmitters. They are recommended for depression, kidney and liver disease, asthma, reduce bad cholesterol and the risk of cardiovascular disease, strengthen bones, support the work of the pancreas, and maintain the balance of blood sugar.
Cocoa beans reach us after they are naturally fermented and dried in the sun. All this gives them an extraordinary taste of cocoa, with natural bitter notes of fine natural chocolate.
Use: 5-10 whole cocoa beans per day. Consume directly. It is advisable not to consume dairy products as they block the body's ability to absorb the antioxidants from the cocoa.
Ingredients: 100% organic cocoa beans.

Mineral ingredients
Cocoa beans have a large number of important minerals. The raw cocoa beans contain magnesium, copper, iron, phosphorus, calcium and potassium. Magnesium is needed for the work of the muscles and especially associated with the proper function of the heart muscle. Phosphorus and calcium promote bone growth and maintenance, while mineral honey is important in many biomechanical reactions. Potassium also plays a role in the muscles of the heart and is an important part of the proper function of the cells. Cocoa beans improve the health of our skin, hair and nail growth due to the sulfur content.
Polyphenols
These substances can help our health condition and cardiorespiratory system. However, cocoa is not yet used in medicine for patients with problems with blood pressure and heartbeat.
Anandamide
This is a chemical found in the brain that is released when the neurons (brain cells) transmit information about infected substances called endocannabinoids and act on the same principle as cannabis. This means that cocoa acts more safely than cannabis. This makes us feel more energized, with a more focused and clear mind, and much happier.
Phenylethylamine
Another substance that releases this substance in the same way as nerve cells (synapses - neurons) are released, which in itself presents monoamine. It is responsible for our mood. Biochemically increases blood pressure and blood sugar and leads us to a sense of pleasure. It is also called the "drug of love".
