Mursal tea (Sideritis scardica), also known as "Mountain tea" is a perennial herbaceous plant of the family Ustotsvetna, up to 50 cm. The flowers are yellowish, located vertebrate in the axils of lemon-yellow, membranous bracts in spike-like inflorescences. In fact, the species epithet scardica comes from Scardus - the Latin name of the Sharr Mountains, where it was found and described by the Göttingen botanist August Griesebach.

Useful properties:
Mursal tea contains tannins and essential oils, iron, zinc, sodium, magnesium, copper, cobalt. Due to the high presence of flavonoids it has antibacterial and antioxidant effects.
