Singing bowls are hollow metal bowls that emit a unique and soothing sound when struck or rubbed. They are also known by other names, such as Himalayan bowls, Tibetan singing bowls, holiday bowls, standing bells, prayer bowls, yoga bowls, Tibetan bowls and more. Singing bowls have numerous health benefits and are used for various purposes such as meditation, effects on chakras, reiki, etc. These types of specific bowls are known as meditation bowls, chakra singing bowls, therapeutic singing bowls and more.

According to Tibetan tradition, the existence of singing bowls dates back to the 4th century. Then this particular tradition comes to light with the preaching and teachings of the Buddha. When the outer surface of the singing bowl is hit or rubbed, it begins to vibrate and creates a unique, specific sound frequency. The pulsation of sound naturally releases corrective frequencies to regulate unbalanced chakras. These frequencies also initiate a flow of energy that causes a mystical change in our body, thoughts and emotions. In the past, they have been used for their holistic and healing powers. The seven metals are: gold, silver, mercury, copper, iron, zinc and brass, and correspond to 7 different planetary influences:
