In summer, fresh fruits and vegetables are such a treasure that we want to take them with all our senses, in all their forms - fresh, juice, compotes, jams, crumbs, biscuits, cupcakes, cakes, sauces ...
Ingredients
1 packet Vanilla
2 tbsp. Baking powder
1 tsp Sugar
3 tbsp. Milk
125 g Butter
200 g Flour
100 g Cherries
5 pcs. Peaches
3 pcs. Eggs
Method of preparation
1.
Beat the eggs and sugar into a fluffy cream.
2.
Peel a squash, grate it and squeeze the juice. Mix the puree with fresh milk. Pour the resulting fruit milk into the egg cream. Stir.
3.
Sift the flour together with the baking powder. Pour it spoon by spoon into the cream.
4.
Melt the butter and add it in a thin stream to the dough. Finally, add the vanilla.
5.
Take 4 tbsp. from the dough in a bowl. Pour the rest into an oiled form with removable walls. Arrange the remaining peaches and cherries cut in half on the dough, fanned in half.
6.
Add a little 2 tbsp. water to the remaining mixture and stir. Drizzle with it on the fruit. The goal is to get a partial coverage, as if there are crumbs on the fruit.
7.
Bake in a preheated 180 degree oven until golden. After removing, remove the ring so that the walls of the cake can cool evenly. garnish with fresh fruit, and when completely cooled, you can sprinkle with powdered sugar.
Cherries make love with peaches and complement each other wonderfully. Blackcurrant loves raspberries and blackberries. Lavender and pears, if you know what a flirtation they have!
In a cake called "Summer" you can put all your favorite fruits. Be careful with only one. As they are quite juicy, they can make the inside too moist and not bake well.
