Aleppo natural soap is an authentic product that is produced according to an old recipe from the 8th century, making it the oldest solid soap in the world. It inherited the traditions of the Phoenicians, who until then had semi-liquid soap.
Aleppo soap is made from olive oil and laurel oil. It does not contain additives, preservatives and perfumes. The product does not contain mineral or animal fats.
Aleppo soap is handmade from olive oil and laurel oil. Olive oil and bay oil are mixed and boiled to 200C, then water and caustic soda (derived from sea salt) are added for the saponification process, after which the mixture is poured into special places for hours, after which the soap is cut into molds and allowed to dry for several months, covered with fine paper, then ready for sale.

Bay oil:
The plant is an archaic plant species that grew on the ancient supercontinent of Gondwana. Laurus Nobilis is one of the few plant species to have survived from a long-forgotten geological era.
Laurel was mentioned and revered by ancient civilizations for its mystical and healing properties. The wearing of a laurel leaf was reserved for the noblest of nobles.
