Ginger essential oil is obtained by steam distillation from the roots of the Zingiber Officinale plant. Although it looks like a root, the part used is actually an underground stem from which the roots branch. Like other essential oils, it is highly concentrated. Direct application to the skin is not recommended.

Ginger essential oil has a distinctive pungent aroma that can be described as strong, warm, spicy. As such, it is often used in aromatherapy. Ginger oil can also be used in a variety of skin and hair care applications.

For aromatherapy
Used in aromatherapy applications, ginger essential oil is stimulating and warming. It increases concentration by effectively calming and reducing feelings of stress, sadness, anxiety, lethargy, agitation, dizziness and fatigue.

About the hair
When used in the hair, ginger essential oil contributes to scalp health and cleanliness, soothes dryness and itching, and promotes healthier hair growth by stimulating and improving scalp circulation.

For the face
Used in cosmetic applications, ginger essential oil inhibits cellular oxidation, which is responsible for skin damage and signs of aging.

Method of use:
Ginger essential oil can be applied topically, in compresses, in the bath, for inhalation or in an aroma lamp/diffuser.

Highly concentrated! Do a sensitivity test before use! In case of contact with eyes, wash abundantly with water! Do not take internally!
