The focus here is on a special ingredient, sulforaphane, which is contained in sprouts. The sprouts are for people who want to eat nutrients and integrate rich micro-greens into their diet. The seedlings are filled with mustard oil (sulforaphane). Our sprouts are analyzed with each new batch and the results always confirm the high content of sulforphaphane.
How much should you eat per day?
0.36 mg of sulforaphane per kg body weight is estimated to give a significant dose.
If we take a body weight of 70 kg, a dose of 25.2 mg daily would make sense.
This corresponds to about 2 g of broccoli seeds.
Broccoli seeds germinate - the germination process
You can grind or germinate broccoli seeds to get valuable ingredients. Here's a little guide to germination:
Rinse the seed thoroughly with water
Then fill the seeds in a germ cup
The cup should now be filled at least twice a day with water, which ensures that the seeds are covered with water and that no mold can form. Drain the water again and the seeds begin to germinate. It can form thin white fiber roots that should not be confused with mold! Put the seed germ / seed cup in a bright place, but not in direct sunlight. After about 3-5 days the seeds are ready for harvest and are full of vital substances and contain, among other things, a lot of mustard oil, also called sulforaphane. The proportion of sulforaphane in seedlings is 100 times higher than that of fully grown vegetables!
Manufacturer: Kraftmischer, Germany
Origin: Italy
Method of preparation:
You can make sprouts at home in a variety of ways. One of the easiest methods is to use a simple flat plate. Cover it with gauze or other water absorbent material. Sprinkle a layer of seeds on the gauze and soak it with boiled and cooled water. Water is added to keep the gauze wet all the time. Put the seeds in a warm and dark place. Plants begin to germinate within 2-4 days, depending on the type of seed. Seedlings of large seeds, such as peas, soybeans, chickpeas, etc. or seeds with flakes, such as: pumpkin, sunflower seeds are cut before consumption. Small seeds can be consumed whole.
Another method is to use a gauze jar. Put the gauze on the neck of the jar and grasp it with an elastic band. This makes washing and draining the water very easy. If the seeds are finer, the gauze should be applied in several layers. For large grains, such as chickpeas and soybeans, gauze is not necessary as we can cover the throat of the jar by hand when draining. This germination method is suitable for almost all non-mucilage seeds.
It is a good idea to use a germination device as well.
Today, I want to show you how easily you can get 100 times more protection against cancer than the one that broccoli offers you.
New research shows that they may eliminate the possibility of developing skin cancer while alive.
What is this new miracle product? Germs of broccoli!
Just a pinch or two of broccoli sprouts greatly increases your antioxidant protection. You eliminate the harmful effects of chemicals from things like smoke, exhaust and even when consuming unhealthy foods.
These chemicals cause damage to your organs and wreak havoc on your skin.
You may have never heard of broccoli sprouts. Or you may have seen them in your sandwich but removed them before you even tried them.
Broccoli sprouts sprout from the seeds of broccoli, which are soaked and kept moist until the plants emerge. The young stems emerge after about 2 or 3 days. Just then they should be eaten for the best protection. They taste fresh, crunchy and steamy.
Perhaps eating fresh fruits and vegetables 7 to 9 times a day is a tedious job. Or maybe you just want to help protect your major organs and your skin from cancer. Whatever the case, I suggest you try broccoli sprouts.
Add them to salad, sandwich or lunch in the office. Season your soups with them. Add a pinch of them when making a shake, juice, syrup or other drink.
Look for sprouts of broccoli in supermarkets at vegetable and herb stands.
You can grow them yourself. All you have to do is buy seeds and a pot to germinate them. Or you can use a glass jar. Just soak, drain and keep them moist by rinsing them daily. The sprouts will emerge in about three days. Germs of three days contain the highest degree of protection.
