The homeland of the apricot is Northeastern Armenia. Until now, wild apricot is found in Central Asia, Dagestan, North-Eastern Armenia. In the Himalayas, it grows even at 4000 m above sea level. As a cultural species, it has been cultivated in Armenia for 3000 years, from where its distribution began - Persia, Asia Minor.
Vegetable oil from apricot kernels is obtained by cold pressing. It naturally contains large amounts of vitamins A, E and B-group, which are an important biostimulator for various physiological and biochemical processes in the body. Apricot oil is a rich source of essential fatty acids Omega 6 and Omega 9. It is used for cosmetic and medicinal purposes. Good for skin, hair and nails.
