THE LEGEND
Oil extracted from a crystal drop collected from a tree endemic to the Greek island of Chios. Greek goddess gives her name to the protein of youth.
Moira Clotho, Lachesis and Atropos are the ancient Greek goddesses of fate. According to legend, Clotho spun the thread of human life, Lachesis measured its length, and Atropos cut it off. Each thread represents life, and the Moirs are destiny. It is said that no one can escape their destiny. Lakesis is an oil extracted by CO2 extraction of crystallized drops from the tree Pistacia lentiscus (mastic), which grows on the Greek island of Chios. The wood secretes resinous sap, which hardens in air and forms crystalline droplets called "crystal tears". The name of the oil obtained from these crystals is Lakesis and is associated with the Greek legend of the three Moiras.
Klotho is the Klotho protein, discovered in 2005, which is able to slow down the aging process. The precious oil of crystal tears increases the synthesis of the Clotho protein in fibroblasts. This protein is considered by scientists to be the NEW PROTEIN OF YOUTH. The cloto protein is involved in a large number of signaling pathways that lead to the restoration of optimal cellular function. Increasing the synthesis of Cloto protein in fibroblasts is practically a new strategy to combat skin aging.
Clinical measurements show that Lakesis reactivates the proteins of youth and improves the density of supporting fibers in the dermis. The skin looks younger and thicker. The facial contours look redrawn.
